Products entering health systems

Who it's for

Digital health products entering their first health system, research platforms linking study data to the medical record, and remote-monitoring programs that need device data next to EHR data. We have built this integration layer for a large academic medical center and know where the time actually goes.

What's included

How it runs

  1. DiscoveryTarget systems, data elements, consent model, and health-system constraints.
  2. DesignInterface specification, data model, and security design reviewed with the health system where possible.
  3. Build and testSandbox integration, test data, and conformance testing.
  4. Go liveProduction onboarding, monitoring, and a runbook for your team.

Questions

Which EHRs do you integrate with?

Epic and Oracle Health (Cerner) most often, plus athenahealth, MEDITECH, and research systems such as REDCap, through FHIR where available and HL7 v2 where not.

Can you get us through a vendor program such as Epic’s?

Yes. We have taken products through health-system onboarding and know the security, privacy, and technical questions that come up, so the application is prepared once rather than iterated under pressure.

Do you handle wearables as well?

Yes. Wearable and sensor ingestion is treated as another interface with the same provenance, consent, and quality requirements as EHR data.
